In 2018 a group of traders based in Yiwu china took a step back to reflect and look at the amount of cheap, plastic and a lot of the time useless junk we were shipping around the world and collectively decided to stop and re-evaluate.
With the increase in media attention and information available online we started researching more and more about the growing problem of plastic waste, climate change and numerous other environmental disasters that we felt we had inadvertently contributed to. Our first hand knowledge and experience dealing with dirty factories combined with the volumes of environmentally unfriendly products that we alone saw being produced and shipped was enough for us to re-think our core values and evaluate how, if at all we can help.
We decided to dedicate all of our efforts into finding eco-friendly alternatives for our customers and from there Betterswitchgreen was born.
We have reduced 1000s of tonnes of unnecessary packaging, switched plastic products to natural or recycled materials and built up a network of trusted suppliers who make continuous efforts to reduce their daily emissions and environmental impact.
